A Prayer A Day

For too long, perhaps due to the rigour at my work, I have adopted a self-centred mentality and have conveniently granted myself the permission to feel, think, and behave so. I hardly think of others around me, social issues around me (unless it concerns topics close to my heart, like Literature), people who loves me and whom I love. I am hoping that by writing a prayer a day for someone or something else other than for me, I will be compelled to recognise how much more beauty the world holds and how much more value life has to offer beyond oneself.
